What can the AI assistant do for online research?

The AI assistant has three built-in research tools. Web search returns results like a Google search. Web extract gets data from a specific URL. Web research does thorough deep research from many sources and produces a report, for example when you ask show me everything about this company.

If you prefer another research tool, such as Perplexity, you can connect it to Votel through the Votel MCP server under Settings, then API / MCP.
